Shaving is a potentially a dangerous task, sometimes causing cuts, irritation and in some cases bumping. A major reason depends on how your hair grows, especially for those of us that have ingrown hair. How you prepare for shaving and the product shaving preparation used.
About the Product:
Pain Free Easy Shave™ is the culmination of over 50 years of formulation and testing. Easy Shave products replenish the surface of the skin with elements similar to those naturally found on the skin's surface. Easy Shave can be used by any shaver regardless of their skin condition or surrounding climate. Our formulas enhance the shaving experience and eliminate the need for pre-shave and after-shave applications. In addition, it's the only product on the market that was designed for facial shaving that does not require water to rinse off the skin. We do recommend that water be used for head and body shaving. What's in our product:
Pain Free Easy Shave™ does not contain any detergents or soap-like ingredients normally found in many shaving products. Our "base" ingredients are listed below is for your reference. These base ingredients in conjunction with Penitrol™, formulated and refined over the past 50 years is what provides you with the best pain free shave possible.
Menthol - gives the skin a cooling sensation and prevents skin irritation.
Camphor - acts as an anti-itch agent.
Squalene - retains the skin's moisture, restores the skin's natural harmony, nourishes dry sensitive skin
Glycerol "from non-animal sources" - smoothens by adding moisture and lubrication to the skin.
Allantoin - an active ingredient that moisturizes, increases the water content of the extracellular, enhances the desquamation (the shedding or peeling of the outer layer of skin) upper layers of dead skin cells, smoothens the skin, promotes cell proliferation and healing, and a soothing, anti-irritant to protect the skin.
Methylparaben and Propylparaben - Used as a preservative for the water and oil phase of the cream against bacteria.
Butylparaben - Used as an antifungal preservative for the cream.
Penitrol™ - similar to elements found on the surface of the skin, it acts in concert with the combination of ingredients to deliver the smoothest, closest, Pain Free shave possible using a blade.

Selecting your formula:
Pain Free Easy Shave™ was designed to provide the most comfortable close shave possible with a razor. This is achieved through it is medicated formulas that comfort and heal the skin injured during shaving. Each shaving condition requires a different level of medication.
Persons with hair that grows straight or slanted have problems associated with removing that layer of hair to get a close shave. Those shavers usually prefer Formulas #1 (Non Medicated) and #2 (Mildly Medicated).
Shavers with acne have pores from which hairs originate that are sore. They prefer Formula #3 (Regularly Medicated) for minor cases of acne. Hair in some cases curl as it grows. Some hairs curl slightly and other severely. Shavers with this trait will also have acne and ingrown hair bumps, PFB. Those shavers choose Formula #4 (Highly Medicated).
Head Shavers will find not only the ability to obtain a close, smooth, comfortable and pain free shave, but also eliminate those bumps normally located on the back of the neck and through out the head.

Blade Selection:
Use any type of quality razor including the battery operated wet shavers. All blades; single, double, triple, or fusion will give you a close, smooth and comfortable shave when you're using PAIN FREE EASY SHAVE™.

Shaving Instructions:
Unlike foams and gels which require excessive amounts, a thin layer, of Pain Free Easy Shave™ is all you need; consequently less is more and it does not cake into the razor.
All our shaving preparations are made to give the same smooth and comfortable shave. There is no reason to wash the face after shaving because all of the hair and dead skin are removed during the process. The remaining cream that has penetrated the pore goes deep into the skin and helps to cleanse and conditions the skin while the cream is on your face. These factors also help in the case of acne because the pores are maintained in clean condition. The medication also sooths newly exposed sore skin. It protects and keeps your skin looking young and healthy.
With Water:
Wet your skin with water, and do not use soap. Then, apply it freely, wet the blade and shave with the grain. Rub the remainder into the skin or rinse shaved area, towel dry and rub a little of the cream into the skin to continue the conditioning process.
Shaving Without Water:
We admit shaving without water is an unorthodox concept. Our formula makes it possible for the razor blade to catch all of the hair. No hair follicles remain on the skin when using our product. So if you find yourself face with time constrictions; enjoying the great outdoors; or in any environment where water is scarce, non-existent or questionable, no problem! Pain Free Easy Shave™ is the only product we know that does not require the use of water for facial shaving.
Please note that all head and body shavers should use water!
Apply it freely to your dry face, allow 30 seconds for moisturizing. Then, shave with the grain. Rinsing off your face is not necessary because no hair remnants remain on the skin. Merely rub the excess back into your face to protect and continue the conditioning process and GO!.
